Aulia and Dindi asked me a million questions and, lamely, I answered a million times: Maaf. Saya tidak mengerti.
Then I had this embarrassing goof trying to talk to Jaya.
Jaya:Alice dari mana?
Alice: Oh, dari festival animasi. Menonton film animasi.
Jaya: Hahaha maksud saya; Alice berasal dari mana?
Alice: Ohhhh, maaf, saya berasal dari Inggris tetapi ibu saya dari Cina.
Won't happen again! This game has answers to those get-to-know-you questions Indonesians ask travelers over and over and over. I say the words aloud and then click to hear if I said them right. (I memorised Brad's pronunciation guide on the gadget but still need some practice, apparently, based on confused looks.)
